Womens Shirts

In some women's shirts, there are these ribbons / bows on the shoulders. What are these grinding / tapes?

I always thought they were too To use if the shirt so it does not hang the hanger from falling. Thought someone else, they would use to wrap around your bra strap to your to keep bra straps from the display.

Although they are to be used for hanging the shirts, so they do not slip off. If anyone has a good use for them found, as you mentioned, kudos to them! But they are there for hanging purposes.
