Do I remove my piercings scan for a bone?

All my piercings are surgical stainless steel. Also, I can wear, if you bone scan? (If I had an MRI done recently I had to remove my piercings and I was not allowed to wear make-up) If anyone could please answer my questions, would I very much appreciate it! Thank you! =]
