How to wear a gray pleated skirt for spring?

I know that pleated skirts spring are more gray than in the fall, but I wonder me only if there is anything what can I do to take me to (light gray, pleated, mid-thigh length) to school without shouting to Catholic school and without humid in the late spring heat – that means no sweaters, pullovers although do look cute, this coat in the fall / winter.
