Size Skirt

If I wear size 4-6 in juniors sizes in the U.S., what size rock would fit me in british sizes?

I bought A few skirts a few years ago in London, where marked a size 12, but they seem really small and I wonder if they are girls sizes because I only saw a few dresses on the mannequins in the window that I liked and went in and bought a few skirts. I want to buy some on ebay, but am not sure what I would size in women's wear and women in British sizes. I do not know how this matter ended in Thanksgiving

You would a 6-8 in the UK. You probably have bought big kids clothes, if they are too small.
