Is it better to rent two minivans full-size cars instead of one?

I was surprised to see that minivan rental is about 2.5 times that Full-size car and I still can not understand the logic. So we plan to hire two full-size cars. Is this a good option? Thank you! I live in Canada and the U.S. poeple can help me.

Erica is right … what you should do is calculate the full costs of both options and take account of gas for both vehicles, the Entrance fee (if applicable), etc. Also check if there any mileage restrictions on the van would be the price increase.
