Silk Satin

How do I add a subject, Material satin / silk?

I have black jacket and would like to color and design. I think this could be a possibility embroidery to do, but I need some guidance.

I would say you should only stitch or glue it on, instead of Iron-b / c it the delicate Silk damage.
