Dying brown hair w / blondish highlights. what is a good way to find out if I look good?

I have really dark hair I would dye it dark brown with blond highlights. What is a good way to find out if I look good. Websites I see if my face will look good with darker hair, trcks any trade, that let you know. Please tell me so dont ask a stylist. the only reason why I asked is b / c some people like Jessica Alba and Nelly Furtado look really bad with light hair. I would not go wrong. xo
