Czech Republic beats Latvia 4-1 in friendly
Roman Bednar, Martin Fenin, Zdenek Pospech and substitute Tomas Necid scored a goal each in the second half to lead the Czech Republic to a 4-1 win over Latvia on Wednesday. Bednar collected a pass from Jaroslav Plasil and his low shot past goalkeeper Andris Vanins found the back of the net in the 49th minute.
