I’m a perfectly fit and healthy 15 year old boy. But why am I so fatigued?

I weigh about 174, am 5’10 and perfectly fit. My diet is balanced, and I manage to fit in enough daily exercise. I know that the average teen is supposed to have around eight hours of sleep. I usually manage this each night, but yet I find myself sleeping on the bus or tired in class. I do not have HIV/AIDS or any cancer and my iron levels are perfectly stable. Can someone tell me why I feel so tired so often?

you may have sleep apnea and don’t know it – how rested do you feel when you wake up in the morning? I think actually teenagers need more than 8 hours of sleep – try to get a bit more if you can. Eat more protein and less carbs, too.
