Metallic Gold

Such as surface imprints make metallic / gold colored on the map?

How would I do that?

I would suggest Heat Embossing: First, dust paper with a tiny amount of fine powders such as talc, or rub the paper with a fabric softening dryer sheet. The idea is to reduce static. Then write or stamp with Versamark ink, or a thick water-based ink of the finished color. Add embossing powder in your chosen color by spraying thick on the paper. It will adhere to the wet ink. Tap off the excess. Heat the embossing powder until it melts and turns shiny. It is good with the paper of a clothespin as a heat source to keep your fingers will burn. If you have a character weapon (which looks like a hair dryer is much hotter), which is the best. I have a toaster to be set up, and you may be able to hold onto the paper via an electric burner on the stove. In a minute or so the design is cool and be raised.
