Grey Dress

What color tights with grey dress and blk knee high boots. The solid blk tights or opaque blk or flesh tone?

I bought a really cute belted grey plaid dress. I want to buy some black knee high boots but i dont know what color tights would look best. Flesh tone? or black opaque? I thnk maybe the solid black tights with the black kneehigh boots may be too much black, HELP!!

Black tights are always a safe bet, especially with a pair of black boots the danger in wearing contrasting tights is that it my chop up your silhouette and make you look less long and lean. The black tights will allow for a seamless visual transition from your boots to your dress. Now this is all assuming that your dress is a short one…if your dress reaches the top of your boots then you can play with color a bit because it will just be peeping out from beneath your dress. Stick with greys, olive greens, dark reds, rubines and cooler fall colors…you could even throw in a muted fishnet.
