J Crew jeans and Gap jeans?

I see the same bootcut jeans at Gap for sale in dark blue for about 49.99 but they sell for about 89.99 at jcrew. Is there something different about these 2 jeans or is it just the brand that costs 40 dollars more power?

J. Crew has a better quality fabric and has flattering making styles and cuts, but the brand name it also cost a bit more. You can not go with nice J. Crew jeans be wrong.
