Can candle wax made with scented oil be removed from a machine washable jacket? If so, how?

I spilled the hot wax all over the front of the jacket. I have scraped as much of it off as I could. It’s an overcoat made of a moleskin-like fabric and it has a quilted lining in it. It isn’t expensive but it is my favorite jacket. I’ve been unable to find another like it.

trick I’ve used to remove candle wax from anything material wise…..is a simple grocery brown paper bag and an iron.

cut the bag open so its just single sheet squares and just iron as if it was a shirt. place the paper on top of the item w/ wax of course.

the heat remelts the wax and the brown paper bag absorbs the wax.

I spilled over 2″ out of a 9″ pillar all over my carpet and ottoman last winter. 6 brown bags and it was all cleaned up, no dirt stain, no ring, nothing still to this day.
