Are those Thai Fisherman Pants really one size fits all?

I am looking for something lightweight to wear while exercising but I try not to fall into the “one size” trap because I am overweight and that never seems to work. Do these pants truly fit everyone? Even overweight peeps?

Thai fisherman pants are lightweight unisex trousers that are made very wide in the waist, and yes one size fits all. The additional material is wrapped around the waist and tied to form a belt. They are usually made of cotton or rayon. Although traditionally used by fishermen in Thailand, they have become popular among others for casual, beach, and exercise like Yoga and Tai Chi.

These pants are made for Thais who are usually small compared to Europeans/Americans/Austrailians. I’m not sure what your size is but I would say that they might not fit if you’re more than 200 lbs. I hope this helps.
