What’s your opinion on upscale dress shirts for men being manufactured without breast pockets?

I went to JC Penney, Macy’s and Kohls. The cheap S,M,L,XL and XXL shirts have a pocket, but don’t fit me and I’m average build. The nicer brands have no pocket, button up funny now. Does anyone else feel as I do-we’ve truly cheapened ourselves.
To “the terminatorfan”-that’s exactly what I did-went online tonight and ordered four dress shirts (with a pocket), nice material. I’ve bought my dress shirts online for ten years. Decided to check out those so-called “Big Sales.” What a scam.

Made in China, they can save 5 cents per shirt by not putting on a pocket and thus maxmize profit. A lot of mass produced stuff these days lacks that well tailored, well sewn look, pulled seams, buttons just a little off, and yet we pay just as much if not more as we did when we used to be able to buy a quality product that looked good. No pocket is just odd.

Its a shame. IMO
