Can I dye white cotton socks to see black?

The black socks sold in shops are not good for my feet, as they polyester, which make up my end of sweaty feet mostly. Can I dye my white cotton socks with something that they are black? Does anyone else experience this?

At Walmart they sell the cotton black socks, gym, and not expensive. You may have black socks in gym athletic good business , but a little more expensive. I wear black socks for gym work and they look like dress socks. Dying is one such effort, but it can be done. Use Rit dye. You can run, but if you break a sweat. If you dye again I'll never talk to you! heh heh-Have a great day!
