Cocktail Clubwear
Is anyone else worried that they’re getting old?
Ok…it started with a few grey hairs…which escalated!
Then me eyesight started going!….I’ve been thinking of moving my settee nearer to the TV! lol
And – YES…I bought myself a magnifying glass – coz I NEED it – how does anyone read the small print on packets etc? lol
I seem to pee more nowadays?
AND….worst of all – I’ve been looking at floral floaty dresses and tops – and bought some shoes with lace FLOWERS on them…..I love cocktail dresses rather than my clubwear – including glam clutch bags!
AND I KEEP THINKING OF MOVING TO THE COUNTRYSIDE!!!
Flipping heck…..whats happening to me!??
Its weird because I feel SAD about it….coming to an end of an era , but also looking forward to sitting in me garden looking at the flowers!…it sounds sad – but the simple things in life are making me more content!
Anyone else felt / feel the same?
And why do I feel SAD about moving on and being HAPPY?
Or is it just that dreaded word – OLD! lol
I look forward to growing old with my wife!
Rocking chairs on the front porch, grand kids running around the yard (and going home later that day) spending time talking and loving on each other without all the distractions of kids and work!
I can’t wait! And if I have some physical issues to deal with so be it!
