Chiffon Summer

Where do 30 something women shop for summer dresses/clothes?

I am having a hard time finding comfortable summer clothes in an “adult” clothing store. Usually I do shop at younger stores simply for the reason that those stores sell very soft cotton dresses that are not too heavy in material. I have been in The Limited, Express and Banana Republic and all I find are heavy silk, heavy rayon or chiffon material when it comes to summer dresses that are very expensive. I am in Florida where it is very hot and this material is extremely horrible for the heat. Is my age group too old to shop at younger stores for basic summer pieces or summer dresses? For example, Forever 21 or even the junior department at Dillard’s etc?

I shop in juniors departments and stores all the time, and I’m 44. If you like it, go for it. I buy what I like and what is comfy…I don’t care what dept it comes from or what anyone else thinks about it. It’s ME that I need to please. ☺
